This contest was "Show What Your Belief Is!" but due to the hardness of the theme and lack of entries the theme has changed to "Wish Upon a Star." Congrats to [Eyden13] for taking the time to enter and win! Thank you soooo much!

"Where We Belong"

She once had nothing to show,
for her talent laid below
Then Elftown came along,
giving her a place to belong

Now in Elftown do I believe,
for now my talent has arised
Letting those who believe see,
the person who has rised

In Elftown we all should believe,
for it allows us all to see
A community were we belong,
and for those who come along

So in Elftown do I believe
is my home away from home
An empire similar to Rome
A place for us all to dream, hope and believe

Rules!
****Note: This contest is a mutli-media one. Anything will be accepted if it abides by the rules!****
1. For a drawing, no nudity. It's not necessary!
2. Don't be violent. This contest is supposed to uplift!
3. Use your own work. (I've never seen a problem with this but it must be put up.)
4. If you do a drawing, please no lined paper. Make your drawing of good quality.
5. If you do a story or a poem, please put it on a wiki page if it's more than fifteen(15) lines long.
6. Please use common sense if I've missed something...
7. Old work is fine, but don't put in work that's already been entered in an older contest.
8. Feel free to submit ONE(1) in every media. Example: One(1) poem, one(1) photo, one(1) drawing is okay, but not two(2) drawings and one(1) photo.
9. You must have fun! It's demanded! :P

1. [Deus Ex Taco]
Aquila:

I see my life flash through the sky.
Further illuminating the night,
With great swans and eagles it does fly.
Alongside Altair, it flaps it’s wings with might.

My wishes coming true as I soar through the air,
It graces me so sweetly with bliss.
Flying my way through the stars without a care,
There is no experience as genuine as this.

And when I wished upon a star
The magic came from wide and far
To draw me in and pull me out
And stretch my mind beyond a doubt
So I could dream it’s holy art

The dance began, and all around
The drummers beat their heartfelt sound
And harpists plucked the sacred strand
While flautists did the winds command
And I was called to play my part

With pen and paper as my tools
And blessed by Gods and hallowed fools
I traced the page with lines of ink
And wondered what the wise would think
As I relieved my quill born heart

My Sky

I did not need much,
Only one true wish
Only one bright star

I did not need much,
But what I did need
Was hard to find.

When I did find my need
I wished upon one star
I wished upon one dream
One desire

And what I found
Was more than one light
It was bazillion, luminous lights

My need , and what I found,
Was the sky.

A place in which to create,
To learn and laugh and love.
I wished upon a star
The brightest in the sky,

Could go each day to feel
Free, artistic and loved.

[Nocturnaliss]: I kinda realized the other one was pretty hard. I had been swirling the decision around in my head for weeks and so now the decision's been made! I hope you can enter this one!

To [Nocturnaliss]: I understand what you mean. That's part of the reason there's no deadline, but it probably won't end until about March or April so you have plenty of time! :) (I need plenty of time to work on the badges-my art final is coming up soon so I need time to devote to that and lessons (4 left!) and finish it all before March 1st.)

Voting wise they would be put into categories; I just don't like all the different links to different pages. If definitely wouldn't be fair; it would be like putting a basketball player against a tennis player: two different things! :O
